NEDBANK GOLF CHALLENGE : AN ANNUAL SUN CITY HIGHLIGHT !

The Nedbank Golf Challenge (formerly known as the Million Dollar Golf Challenge) has long been a highlight of the golf calendar in South Africa and overseas, with a cool US$1.2 million cheque for the winner. Last year, Retief Goosen kept his head when all about him others were losing theirs to win the 2004 Nedbank Golf Challenge by six shots over the Gary Player Country Club course at Sun City. It's anyone's guess who'll walk away with the cheque this year. The tournament is played in Sun City in December every year.

The Lost City Golf Course is an 18-hole desert-style golf course with spectacular views across the bushveld. Unique to this 72 par course are the 38 real crocodiles at the 13th hole making this one of the most unusual golf resorts in the world, let alone in Africa! The golf course covers more than 100 hectares and incorporates 28 000 square metres of water features .. not surprisingly golf carts are compulsory.
